Lord Thomas McNally is Leader in the House of Lords of British Parliament of the third Largest British Political Party. The Liberal Democrats Party has 63 Members of Parliament in the House of Commons and 78 in the House of Lords. They are in coalition government in Scotland with Five Ministers and the Deputy First Minister being from the Liberal Party. Liberal Democrats are significantly represented in European Parliament, London Assembly, as well as Welsh Assembly and their representation has increased over the last few years.

Parliament thereby influencing policy decisions. Lord McNally has been in the political arena from a young age and assisted the former British Prime Minister Rt. Hon James Callaghan as the Head of the Political Office in 10 Downing Street. He also accompanied the Prime Minister on his meetings with the Presidents Ford and Carter, Dr. Kissinger, Mr. Breznev and Mr. Gromyko, the Heads of Government of all the European Community countries, and a wide range of Government and political leaders in Africa and the Middle East. In October 2004 Lord McNally was elected unopposed to be leader of the Liberal Democrats in the House of Lords, succeeding Baroness Shirley Williams when she retired from that position. Lord McNally was appointed a member of the Privy Council in February 2005.

Paul Flynn is a senior British Politician and the member of the Ruling Labour Party.
